Our client wanted to create a linking extension to join the main house to the garage building in order to make best use of the space and capture the fabulous views over their garden and farmers fields beyond. 

 

Within this extension at ground floor level we have created a new and improved entrance area, WC, utility and cloaks room together with a walk-in larder that directly serves the kitchen. At first floor a new living room has been created that is full of natural light and captures the rural views perfectly in order to maximise the client's enjoyment of their home.

 

The existing ground floor layout within the main house currently had lots of small, cramped rooms. The proposal opened up the ground floor layout to create a large communal kitchen, dining, family room to create a space that was better suited for modern day living. It now has plenty of natural light and connections to the garden to increase our client's well-being.

We have therefore turned this period property from a cold, dark building with lots of small rooms into a wonderful home that is fit for 21st century living.
