Planning permission has been granted to extend and remodel a 4-bedroom dwelling in a sort after Colchester location. The brief also included significant internal alterations in order to improve the flow into and through the house. The ground floor layout especially has gone through a huge transformation to create an optimised open plan layout with improved connections to the garden.

The client is delighted with the transformation as the design helps realise the site's full potential, whilst allowing their home to be suitable for modern day family living. The client is quoted as saying:

"David has expertly guided us through the process. He is hard working and has diligently listened to our thoughts and ideas to produce a plan that far exceeds our initial vision.

 

This is our first development project and David has always shown patience, empathy and reassurance. His suggestion to use 3D modelling and the 4k cinematic animation was brilliant as it really helped us visualise the design fully.

The 4K cinematic fly-through animation is one of the added benefits that DMAC Architects can offer to clients. It helps demonstrate and communicate the scheme to the client, who can sometimes struggle to fully understand 2D plans. It then brings the scheme to life for them so they can visualise how it is going to feel when they stand in their new and improved space.
